The Mandrells first promotional photo as a Christmas Card?
I have a Christmas Card that has the same photo of Brian with The Mandrells shown on this website. It is in a "Photo Christmas Card" that is hand-signed "The Mandrells" in fine felt type black ink. The cover of the card is embossed with gold lettering and says "Season's Greetings" On the back in recessed letters is " No. 347-H Kodak Christmas Folder Design Made In USA". The Black and White print with white border is on heavy cardboard type paper "Photo Cardstock" with a soft textured matte finish. It measures 3-1/2" x 5" overall with the actual image size being 3" x 4-1/2". The border is 1/4" evenly on all sides.
I am wondering if this photo was primarily used as an insert into Christmas greeting Cards and when was the photograph taken? i have contacted a few collectors and one person that claims to be an old family friend, yet no one can provide me with any info on this as they have never seen one of these greeting cards before.
